Ladder Alumni visit the MCG

As part of the Ladder Alumni program, we welcomed back 8 Alumni to join us in a week of fun after what has been a tough year for most. It has been great to see some familiar faces and engage with the young people again, and to hear and see their growth from previous programs.

During the week, the young people visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Sports Museum. The group enjoyed being able to see what happens in the MCG and getting photos in some of the change rooms.

We were lucky enough to have Carlton FC AFLW player Courtney Jones join us and she did a Q&A in the park while the group had a picnic lunch. Courtney was able to give the young people insight into the football world as a female athlete and gave them advice on working hard to achieve their goals.

The young people really enjoyed their day. We thank Courtney and the MCG staff for their time with the young people.
