Taylah also spoke about a unique opportunity she had to get real hands on experience in the sporting industry, where she hopes to forge a career.

"Last year I [had] the opportunity to do a work taster at the AFL Players' Association and it was one of the best things ever. It was really good.

Taylah also commented on the impact that the Ladder program had on her life.

"This time last year, I was struggling with mental health. I've gained confidence and am out there doing everything I can.

"When i started Ladder, I only slept like 2 - 3 hours a night and now I'm getting nearly 8 hours sleep. I just feel healthier."
