Last week, young people in our Step Up Sydney program participated in a tailored health and wellbeing session delivered by our very own Ladder Development Coaches, who have backgrounds in the fitness industry. The young people learned some basic techniques and completed rounds of pad punching in the ring. Both the young people and Development Coaches worked up a sweat and had a great day of fun and learning.

Ladder programs improve young people’s outcomes across key life domains including health and wellbeing, which is very important for our young people. Participating in fun, fitness activities like this encourage our young people to engage in exercise and provide the chance to socialise in a healthy way. It was a great introduction to boxing and an opportunity embraced by all.
