Ladder partners with organisations to implement aspects from our successful programs in a variety of settings. We work alongside organisations to understand their objectives, intended outcomes and young people’s needs and design specific programs to benefit the lives of young people.

We recently completed our first Step Up program, as part of the Youth Employment Consortium created by Jobfind, to support young unemployed Australians.

Ben, a 19-year-old program participant is a university student who was struggling to find a part-time job. He attended a Jobfind career advice session, completed the Step Up program and is now working part-time in a warehouse.

"I was enrolled into the Ladder program at Airport West Jobfind and would like to say that the course was very well run, the presenters were very kind, and overall, it was a very positive experience.

Ben attributes his employment as a result of having attended the Step Up program.

“I received a lot of knowledge that I will use for my future and would recommend this short program to people who are having trouble finding a job.”

We wish Ben all the best with his new employment and continued studies. We look forward to continuing to help young unemployed Australians through the Youth Employment Consortium which we are proud to be part of.
