Ladder's partnership with Djerriwarrh leads to successful outcomes

After a successful program last year as part of our partnership with Djerriwarrh Community and Education Services, we are very excited to commence another program in Clunes, Victoria on Thursday 27th January.

Last year’s program focused on the fundamentals of our Ladder Step Up programs that include sessions on life skills such as resilience and gratitude, as well as employment skills such as goal setting. The upcoming 2022 program will also include a number of job tasters and Q&A sessions with potential employers and engaging outdoor activities focused on team building.

A highlight of this partnership has been supporting participants to secure and sustain employment. Ryan, who was a participant from Ladder's first program with Djerriwarrh had the goal of gaining employment in the logistics sector. Through his determination and the skills gained during the program, he is now employed with a national supermarket chain which he is very proud of.

We wish Ryan and all of the participants the very best for their future endeavours and we look forward to working with another great group of young people in 2022.
