On 18th June, the tenth Ladder Step Up Latrobe Valley program came to a close with this group of program participants graduating with flying colours.

One of our newest graduates is Jake. He commenced the Ladder Step Up Latrobe Valley program during program nine, however due to circumstances out of his control, Jake couldn't complete the full program at that time. When the Step Up Latrobe Valley team began intake for program 10, they immediately thought of Jake and contacted him to find out if he could commit to the full program this time round.

Jake was delighted to commence program 10 in May and during the next 6 weeks, he excelled in all elements of the program. Jake’s participation even had effects on those around him, with a member of the community commenting on how the program was making a real difference to Jake’s life.

To mark Jake's commitment and achievements throughout the program, on 18th June he was awarded Ladder's Highest Climber Award. This award is supported by Bank Australia and presented to the program participant would has achieved the most during their time in the Step Up program.

Jake was very appreciative of the award telling his Development Coach "today meant a lot to me, thank you”. Ladder is proud of what Jake has achieved so far and we look forward to hearing about his future successes as he moves into our alumni group.

Sincerest congratulations Jake from everyone at Ladder.
