Harry takes on a volunteer role, a step in the right direction

Harry graduated from our Step Up Sydney program and will be completing his final year of high school this year. He has started to think about his career and wants to find something challenging but also something that allows him to use the art skill set he already has.

After recently meeting the team at his local community centre, Harry secured himself a volunteer assistant art coaching position, providing weekly art lessons to children during the school term.

Last week Harry ran his first ever art class where he taught a group of 9-13 year old's on how to paint a simple sunset. The staff member mentoring Harry said that he was such a natural and quickly adjusted to coaching cues that were given to him.

We are so proud of Harry and know that this is just the start to something bigger for his career in art.
