Last weekend, Ladder staff and young people organised a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle in Morwell. Two young people who recently graduated from the Step Up Latrobe Valley program and two current Reconnect program participants volunteered their time for the entire day. Volunteering is a key element of Ladder’s program. Not only does it encourage young people to “give back” it also helps young people boost their self-confidence and self-esteem and provides them with a sense of community connection.

The funds raised will help support the Ladder programs we provide for young people in the Gippsland region.

We would like to thank all our wonderful young people who volunteered their time on the day. We also thank Bunnings Morwell and the following organisations for their donations in support of the day.
