Ladder will once again host an AFL Finals celebration to raise awareness and funds to support our mentoring and development programs. 

On October 14th, Ladder supporters will come together via Zoom to learn about our work and an expert footy panel of guests including Fitzy, Kevin Sheedy, Michael O’Loughlin and Wayne Schwass.

There will also be an opportunity to bid on a range of auction items with all proceeds raised supporting Ladder. 

Sincerest thanks to our wonderful volunteers from ANZ who are supporting with the organisation of the event again this year. 

The successful event in 2019 raised over $58,000 to enable Ladder to pilot the Ladder Step Up Online program, a group mentoring program that builds young people’s competency across key life domains.

An evaluation of the Ladder Step Up Online program to date highlights the positive outcomes young people experience, including:

• 91% of participants rated Step Up Online 4 or 5 out of 5
• 91% of young people would recommend this program to a friend
• 88% of participants were either satisfied or very satisfied with Step Up Online
• 69% of participants felt a greater sense of belonging
• 60% of participants felt more connected to those around them and their communities
• 63% of participants felt a greater sense of self-efficacy
• 78% of participants felt more aware and knowledgeable of their health and wellbeing
