On behalf of Ladder staff and the young people we work with, we would like to thank all our supporters for their generous donations and contributions this 2021 AFL Finals.

We believe that 0 is the only number of disadvantaged young people that is acceptable, and we were calling on everyone to #ChangeTheNumber by purchasing an Official 2021 AFL Premiership Cup pin or making a donation.

This year has been a very different year across all aspects, with most things moving to the online environment including the selling of our Official 2021 AFL Premiership Cup pins, as opposed to at the grounds in previous years.

Despite these circumstances, we had a successful fundraising campaign as a result of our pins selling out, as well as receiving online donations. These funds will go towards our vital programs that continue to support young people to achieve their goals.

We were also able to secure media opportunities with Channel 9, the Herald Sun, Fox Footy - AFL 360, 3AW radio, SEN breakfast radio and Gippsland FM to promote the campaign.

We know that during this period of uncertainty, young people need our programs more than ever so we are so thankful for the wonderful support of our founding partners, the AFL and the AFL Players Association, as well as all the AFL and AFLW players who promoted our fundraising campaign. We would also like to thank our very generous campaign partners including Seven West Media, Sportsbet, Virgin Australia, Tixtar and the Melbourne Football Club, who all purchased pins for their events and partners.

We are already looking forward to the 2022 Ladder AFL Finals Campaign and hopefully being back at the footy.
