Since 2018, the Ladder Step Up Latrobe Valley program has been supporting young people from the local community to achieve their education, training and employment goals.

This month the eleventh program will commence with a new group of young people who are looking to build their skills and capacity across key life areas.

To date, the program has directly benefited 111 young people and provided countless hours of support to assist young people to engage / reengage in education, training or employment.

Some of the outcomes achieved by our program participants so far include:

• 168 jobs applied for by participants.
• 105 young people participating in employment experiences/taster.
• 66 young people employed post program completion.
• 47 young people re-engaged in secondary or vocational education.
• 51 young people have been successfully matched with a Ladder mentor.
