On Wednesday 14th October, Ladder supporters from across Australia came together to celebrate the 2020 Finals Series and raise vital funds to support Ladder programs.

Hosted by Ladder Board member and dual premiership player, Brad Sewell, attendees had the chance to hear about Ladders work directly from a recent program graduate, Jaxon. Jaxon, joined by his 1:1 Ladder mentor Nick, shared his story, attributing his new-found independence and sense of stability to his time spent in Ladder programs.

In addition, guests were treated to a panel discussion featuring AFL greats, Kevin Sheedy, Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Mick O’Loughlin as well as a mental health presentation from Wayne Schwass of Puka Up.

The event was organised again this year by a group of dedicated volunteers from ANZ. In addition to raising funds for Ladder through Finals events, this group has directly supported young people Ladder works with through becoming 1:1 mentors, hosting group mentoring days and supporting the delivery of Ladder's education, training and employment program sessions.

The event raised over $12,000 for Ladder, with all funds raised directly supporting our programs.

Thanks to everyone who supported the event again this year.
