Ladder young people are front and centre at ANZ staff summit

Since 2019, Ladder has been receiving support from a dedicated group of volunteers from ANZ. Over this time, ANZ volunteers have supported a range of Ladder programs as 1:1 mentors, volunteers and fundraisers.

Last week, young people from the Ladder Step Up Latrobe Valley program were invited to an event to speak directly with ANZ about their Ladder journey, highlighting how ANZ has assisted participants to achieve their education, training and employment goals.

Together with ANZ staff, they played team building games and worked together on a vision board activity. A Q&A session was led by the Development Coaches and two of our young people alumni shared about their journeys with the Ladder Step Up Latrobe Valley program and how successful they've become since graduating.

The young people had a great time engaging with ANZ staff and many of the ANZ staff left the session fulfilled and wanting to get more involved with Ladder programs.

We thank this group of ANZ volunteers for their continued support and we look forward to working together on many more opportunities with our young people.
