Western Bulldogs Football Club player, Josh Dunkley is among a number of AFL players helping Ladder to provide regular and ongoing support to program participants during the latest COVID-19 regulations.

Josh is coming off a breakthrough season in 2019 and has just completed a pre-season training block with NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown. Josh has been kind enough to share some of his knowledge with Ladder program participants, as we develop new and innovative ways of delivering program content to our young people that meet the government requirements of physical distancing.

With the newest government messaging to stay at home, Ladder has quickly adapted to a new form of program delivery, ensuring our young people are still engaged and focused on program content, with AFL players putting their hand up to provide session content. Whether it be a body weight work out session, as seen by Josh, a yoga session, healthy eating or routine development, from across the league are allowing our participants the chance to get exclusive insights into how players are also navigating their way through the current difficult situation.

Ladders dedication to our young people and ensuring young people are still developing their independent living skills, job readiness skills, and health and wellbeing skills, is evident in our new online program models. We encourage everyone to get on board and join the AFL community in sharing important tips around physical and mental health and staying connected via our social media channels.

Please remember that caution should be taken when completing all exercise routines posted by AFL Players and Ladder. Be aware of any pre-existing medical conditions and your own limitations that may put you at risk of injury. You should always consult your doctor or other healthcare provider before changing your diet or starting an exercise program.
