Ladder program participants were invited to the AFL Players’ Association headquarters this week for a tailor made group mentoring session.

Young people engaged in a range of sessions that were delivered by AFLPA staff, along with representatives from their corporate partners Lululemon, Shadforth and TwoPointZero.  

Ladder Program Officer and AFLW Premiership Captain, Ellie Blackburn was involved in organising the event and attended on the day.

The AFLPA presented a session on mental health awareness, Lululemon presented on goal setting and visualisation, Shadforth was responsible for the session on finance and budgeting and TwoPointZero educated the group on resume writing.

“The feedback from the program participants was really strong, and reinforces how valuable these sessions and partnerships are.
