Players from across all AFLW Clubs call on fans to support Ladder

In an historic move, players from across all AFLW Clubs are taking a united stand against youth homelessness. As they gear up to make history this weekend, players are urging the public to get behind Ladder and text Tackle to 0437 371 371 or visit to make a donation.

Spearheaded by Melbourne’s Daisy Pearce, the players wanted to use their profile in this, the inaugural AFLW season to make meaningful difference to the lives of young people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness.

It’s the AFLW’s biggest-ever fundraising drive to help young people in need get back on their feet. On any given night in Australia, there are 105,000 people homeless, nearly half of these are aged under 25.

Players including Melbourne’s Daisy Pearce and Bulldogs Katie Brennan are calling on the public to back the campaign.

You can get involved either online by liking and sharing Ladder’s social media content, or by making a donation in support of the campaign.

Funds raised through this campaign will support Ladder and in particular, support at-risk young women to stay engaged in community sports.

Ladder is very grateful to you and AFLW players for their support and commitment to the campaign.
